Get to 20 Math Game

Here is a fun game to play with your kiddos!  Grab a calculator and practice your homeschooler's adding and logic skills!

Step 1: Clear the calculator so that it says 0.

Step 2:  Take turns.  Each player chooses to add 1 or 2.

Step 3: The player who reaches 20 on their turn is the winner!

Domino Math

Hands on activities are a great way to keep your homeschool kiddos interested and engaged in math activities.  One great inexpensive tool to keep on hand is a set of dominos.  If you don't have one on hand, you can print out some dominos here.

To practice addition (like in the picture above) print out this worksheet.

Simply have your child write their own addition sentence using the dominos.

Free Pattern Block Templates

Luke has recently discovered out pattern blocks, so I was excited when I discovered these free pattern block templates.  You can print them out on cardstock and laminate them for extra durability and repeated use.

If you don't have your own pattern blocks, you can create some with this printable.  Again, print them on cardstock and laminate for durability, especially if you are homeschooling more than one kiddo!
