Create a Temperature Bar Graph


Have your child keep track of the temperature in several major cities, or the average temperature of your city for the last 12 months, and have them prepare a bar chart.  You can print out this blank bar graph to make it easier.

Then have them answer the following questions:

1. What city (or month) was the hottest?

2. What city (or month) was the coldest?

3. Which two had the closest temperatures?  What was the difference?

4. Which two had the greatest difference?  What was the difference?
