Free Homeschool ID cards

Tired of explaining to curious commenters that you homeschool when they ask why your children aren't at school? You may want to print out one of these free Homeschool ID cards.  The site asks that you become a member, but it is free to join. You can print out a set for free or order plastic laminated versions from the site for a cost of $6.95.  We have opted to print them out and laminate them ourselves.

Make a Whiteboard for Under $30!

I am seriously loving this white board that Mama Mary's hubby made for her!  The best part, it was under $30 for the whole project.  If I had some more wall space I would be asking making my own hubby make one for me.  Seriously, my walls are covered with book shelves.  But, I am thinking of seeing if we can move some because I am seriously having some white board envy over here.

My Newest Swagbucks Treasures

Scissor Skills

Cutting accurately with scissors is a skill we sometimes take for granted, but scissor skills are just as important as other fine motor skills. Cutting requires the coordintion of many skills including fine motor coordination, bilateral coordination, and eye-hand coordination. Here are some ways to practice this important skill.

Math Bingo

I recently hit the dollar section at Target and found some great learning games for playing with the boys. We bought Math and Letter Bingo. The boys and I played the math bingo last night and it was a hit! You can view the game in action here.
