Wacky Web Tales

Remember MadLibs from when you were a kid? Wacky Web Tales is a similar way to practice parts of speech, grammar, reading and more.  Your child chooses a story, then enters their responses in a form like this one:

Here is the story Tyler generated:

All a Dream

I fell asleep yesterday listening to an old album that my mom had. I really enjoyed it, though I had a weird dream. It was kind of like one of the old songs.

I've been workin' in Disneyland,

All the pretty day.

I've been workin' in Disneyland,

Just to pass the time away.

Don't you hear the whistle running?

Rise up so early in the morn.

Don't you hear George Washington shouting

“Tyler, jump your horn? ”

Tyler, won't you jump,

Tyler, won't you jump,

Tyler, won't you jump your horn?

Tyler, won't you jump,

Tyler, won't you jump,

Tyler, won't you jump your horn?

Someone's in the kitchen with Tyler.

Someone's in the kitchen, I know.

Someone's in the kitchen with Tyler

Strumming on the old guitar.

It was the weirdest dream I've had in a long time!
