Weekly Meal Planning
If your days are anything like mine- you feel like you have way too much to do, and not enough hours in the day to do them all! Menu planning at my house unfortunately often starts only an hour before dinner time and often is not as healthy as I would like. That's why I love these free weekly meal plans from Skinny Mom! They come complete with recipes and shopping lists which will make my life much easier!

Kids in the Kitchen Videos
My boys absolutely love helping out in the kitchen and making yummy things. Cooking is a great way to make learning hands on and fun - adding and multiplying fractions, measurement skills, following directions and more! I was super excited to find these fun Kids in the Kitchen videos for them to watch. The episodes feature yummy and healthy recipes for kids 6th grade and up to make on their own. Younger kiddos can help parents to make the recipes.
Here are a few of our own cooking posts:
Chocolate Chip Cake
S'Mores Pudding
S'Mores Brownies
Homemade Microwave Popcorn
Popcorn Cupcakes
Handprint Turkey Cookies

Easier Grilled Cheese
With the fall months coming soon, chances are you may find yourself making yummy grilled cheese and tomato soup for lunch. It is a big hit at our house, but making grilled cheese sandwiches for 6 kiddos, hubby, and I can take a loooong time. I usually use our portable skillet, but here is an even easier, quicker, and lazier way to make grilled cheese:
Butter each piece of bread and place face down on a cookie sheet.
Put cheese on top.
TA-DA, GRILLED CHEESE ready to eat and cooked on both sides. Yummy! Pair with some tomato soup, fruit or veggies for a quick and easy healthy lunch!

Add a second slice of bread with butter side up and stick in your preheated 350 oven for 20 minutes.
