Master Lock wants to know, What’s the best piece of advice you can offer to students and fellow parents for surviving the school year? A few of my best tips:
** Stock up on school supplies now when the prices are the lowest! I buy everything I need for the whole year during late July and all of August when the sales prices are the best! Can't beat penny and dollar school supplies!
** Organize now - the school year is always hectic, taking time to plan how your child is going to organize their assignments and paper work will save you a lot of hassle in the fall!
** If your child goes to public school or to a co-op label, label, label all of their belongings. That way your child can find their things easily. This also works at home if you have several kiddos who all have red notebooks.
** Everything needs a home. Keep school supplies, coats, shoes in a specific place so that they can be found when you need them. (Oh how many times have I rushed frantically throughout the house looking for someone's shoes!)
Master Lock® has hired a new specialist on student life to help students safely and securely navigate this school year in style. The Master Mind, a suave and funny college grad, is staring in a humorous online video series on in which he, along with his clever Little Sister, are setting out to answer students’ most frequent, awkward and perplexing questions on www.facebook.com/masterlock.
Parents and students are invited to submit their own questions for the Master Mind and participate in daily sweepstakes for a chance to win back-to-school must-haves, including popular Master Lock school and campus security products.
